Baker, Hobert (P2, C1, L5)

Baker HobertPrivate Hobert Baker was born 6 March 1922, in Booneville, Owsley County, Kentucky. He joined the Kentucky National Guard at Booneville on 13 September 1940, becoming a member of Company F, 149th Infantry. He entered federal service on 23 December 1940, his home of record at the time was Mistletoe, Owsley County, Kentucky. He was killed in action 8 February 1945, at Luzon Island, Philippine Islands.
