Butler, George W. (P2, C1, L16)

First Sergeant George W. Butler was born at 22 October 1903, at Milton, Trimble County, Kentucky. He joined the Kentucky National Guard at St. Matthews, Jefferson County, Kentucky, on 4 October 1939, becoming a member of Headquarters Company, 149th Infantry. He entered into federal service at Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky on 17 January 1941. He died 8 June 1942, and is buried in the Moffett Cemetery, Milton, Kentucky.
