Peveler, Oscar P. (P2, C3, L35)

Master Sergeant Oscar Phillip Peveler was born 17 May 1931, at Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. He enlisted at Owensboro, Kentucky, with Headquarters, Headquarters & Service Company, 201st Engineer (Combat) Battalion, on 27 December 1950. In April 1951, he was transfer to Company C, 201st Engineer (Combat) Battalion. He was ordered into active duty on 1 May 1951. While on active duty he was re-assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division.

peveler oscar headstonePeveler died of Pneumonia on 31 July 1952, while on active duty in Korea. He is buried in the Owensboro Memorial Gardens..
