Willis, William Hollins (P3, C2, L10)

Technical Sergeant William H. Willis was born in Versailles, Woodford County, Kentucky, on 7 October 1930. He served two years with the Marine Corps Reserve (1947-1949). On 24 May 1963, he enlisted into the Kentucky Air National Guard at Louisville. At the time he was living in Buechel, Jefferson County, Kentucky. Willis died while on duty on 14 October 1976. At the time of his death he was serving as an Avionic Navigation Systems Specialist with the 123rd Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, at Standiford Field (ANG), Louisville, Kentucky. He is buried in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky
