Martin, Michael Edward (P3, C1, L25)

martin michael e croppedMaster Sergeant Michael E. Martin, 51, of Lebanon Junction, Bullitt County, died on 22 July 2008 from injuries sustained as a passenger in a vehicle accident in Shepherdsville. Martin was serving on federal active duty with the 223rd Military Police Company and had just returned to Kentucky from his second tour of duty in Iraq. His death is listed as line of duty (LOD). He is buried in the Highland Memorial Gardens, Mount Washington. Martin was posthumously promoted to Master Sergeant.
