Scanlon, Jennings Bryan, Jr. (P2, C4, L8)

scanlonpowSergeant Jennings Bryan Scanlon Jr., 20, of Mercer County, Kentucky, Headquarters Company, 192nd Light Tank Battalion was taken prisoner on 9 April 1941 and survived the Death March. He was held at Camp O'Donnell and Cabanatuan #1 Nueva Ecija, Philippines where he died of dysentery on 8 June 1942.Scanlon_Grave
